A sweet farewell ….

As we say goodbye to Summer we are also bidding a sweet farewell to our beautiful little shop just off Camden Passage. It’s been our home away from home and an epic journey but this isn’t good bye  ….

Friday’s got to get product!

We thought we’d start a little feature about our favorite products and what better way to start than with one of our very own that we stock here at DDL and one that we just can’t live with out!

Having bleached blonde locks myself and years of over processing my hair this has been my saviour! (Well it’s helped improve the condition a wee bit so I can continue to bleach the hell out of it for now) So let me introduce Milkshakes intensive conditioning foam! Horrar!

Milkshake products are all deeply conditioning, containing milk and wheat proteins, I use this as a conditioner and some times keep it on as a treatment too, here’s the science bit from our stylist Beth, “shampooing your hair opens the cuticles, for best results then pop on a treatment so it penetrates the hair, rinse away and then use your conditioner to close the cuticles sealing in the treatment! Genius!!

It’s other major pros are that it smells amazing, really amazing, like a sweet vanilla marshmallow milk, yum, plus it’s foam which always equals great bath time fun! Milkshake is a brand we really believe in, love and use ourselves, this is no way a sponsored post, just girls sharing beauty tips and biggin’ up products we can’t live with out. We will be delving into our make up bags next week to share some more of our favorites bits and pieces with you.
